Get to Know Me

I received my Masters of Science in Child Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Child Life from the University of Alabama, but don't let that fool you, I am a Clemson Tiger fan!

Most of my career has been spent working with children living with life-threatening or chronic illness and their families in the healthcare setting. This amazing experience opened up my desire for growth as a professional and for an increased ability to serve this population in a deeper way.

While working with the children and their families, I returned to Clemson University to pursue a Masters in Mental Health Counseling in 2008.

I am fortunate to have been afforded the opportunities to work in private practice settings as well as in a psychiatric facility.

I often work with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I find that I can best serve clients experiencing grief/loss, anxiety, acute/chronic illness, or transitional adjustment issues.

As a clinical supervisor, I am committed to providing an open and comfortable environment for individual and group supervision. I strive to educate and support licensed professional  counselor associates through their licensure process.

In addition to counseling, I continue to serve children and their families as the vice president of mission delivery for a local non-profit that serves chronically ill children throughout the state of South Carolina.
